What is your favorite verse to support the tradition of original sin or sin nature, and why?
Would you use Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”?
Have you ever considered that the verse uses two verbs, have sinned and fall short, which are actions, and not a passive inheritance.
Also, where did we fall from once we sinned? This connotes that we did not start off spiritually dead in sin, but spiritually alive and in a relationship with God.
What verse pursuades you that the church tradition of original sin is true?
